I feel invited into subtly here. Reminded of ‘cultural Somatics.’
As a craniosacral therapist, this energetic awareness idea of echolocation brings a smile to my face. Looking forward to reading the articles mentioned at the end.
I have never heard of cultural Somatics and am now curious to look more into it! And also intrigued by your work as a craniosacral therapist. What are some of the most impactful resources you like to share on these topics? (I know it's a wide net of possibilities..) Thank you so much for adding to these echoes ~
As for craniosacral therapy, there are 3 main schools of the practice; the biomechanical, biodynamic, and visionary schools of practice. You might look up biodynamic craniosacaral therapy long-tide http://www.craniosacral-biodynamics.org/thelongtide.html

My first introduction to cultural somatics was through Tada Hozumi https://www.tadahozumi.org/cultural-somatics/ it seems Rezmaa Menekem has adopted the term and has an institute.
